John and I took a long weekend to celebrate our 3 year anniversary and went to Long Island's wine country this past weekend.
It was perfect timing- they were harvesting the Merlot grapes and I went out in the early am to help:
We also went apple picking, pumpkin picking, antiquing, walked of the beach of the Long Island Sound, and had a grand old time going from vineyard to vineyard doing wine tastings at each one. There are over 20 different vineyards on the North Fork! The first day we were there I had a hang over by 5pm!
Needless to say it was the most amazing weekend ever! Here are pictures of our trip:

That is a good looking orange cat.
His face made him look like a grumpy old man. He was quite sweety though, we spent a lovely morning sitting on a porch watching the sun come up over the grape vines together.
